Badam Cashew Cake

Made from almonds, cashew, sugar, green cardamom and ghee, this Yogurt Coffee Cake is a must try cake recipe. Ideal to serve this along with evening tea, this cake recipe would be loved by everyone!

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 almonds
  • 150 gm sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ghee
  • 20 cashews
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
How to make Badam Cashew Cake
  • Step 1

    Soak the almonds and cashews in water for 60 minutes. Peel the almonds skin and discard.

  • Step 2

    Grind the almonds and cashews in a mixie. Boil the sugar with little water.

  • Step 3

    Once the sugar has dissolved, add the ground cashew-badam paste, elaichi and ghee. Mix well till it thickens.

  • Step 4

    Transfer to a greased plate and allow it to cool. Once cooled, cut into desired shapes.

  • Step 5

    Serve in an airtight container.
