Curried Hummus with Avocado Rolls

Ingredients

  • 250 gms boiled chickpeas
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp tahini
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 red cabbage
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 avocado
  • 250 gms wheat flour
  • 1 tsp dry methi leaves
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp desi ghee

Method

  1. Blend boiled chickpeas along with garlic cloves, tahini, lemon juice, & curry powder.
  2. Knead a dough of wheat flour, salt, jeera & dry methi leaves & make dough balls.
  3. Roll dough balls gently & cook with desi ghee.
  4. Spread hummus on rotis & add chopped red cabbage, cucumber, onion, tomatoes & avocado dressed with salt, pepper powder, lemon juice & olive oil.
  5. Serve it with some hummus drizzled with olive oil & a pinch of red chilli powder
